On Sunday, 11 July 2010, two bombs went of simultaneously in Kampala,killing at least 75 people
During the video viewing at two very busy places where people were watching the finals of the world-cup football, suicide bombers blew them-self up killing 60 people instantly and causing many more to be severely injured. More died in hospital.
None of our family & friends were affected.
It is believed that Somali Muslim Extremists are behind the bombings due to the involvement of Uganda in peacekeeping operations in Somalia.
