The new bore-hole has received it's electric pump!
Today (10-Nov-07) we have fitted our 9000 Liter/hour pump in the bore-hole. The villagers looked in amazement how all this water could come out of this small hole. Now they don't have to climb the steep hill anymore to lift their 20 liter jarricans up the slope. Surely, this was a terrible job. More so for the tiny young children who usually get this assignment in the normal families.
Our contribution to the village will be fresh and drinkable water from this well!
This bore hole will now ensure that for the children of this mission there will be plenty of this precious and essential liquid.
Thanks to the donors who contributed to this very important part of the project.
